Corn types & values
Corn comes in quality tiers (Standard, Select, Superior, Premium, Radiant) plus special types (Flower, Grass, Mineral, Civilization and more). Rarer corn sells for dramatically more — a single high-tier ear can beat a whole trailer of Standard.
Every ear of corn in Never Enough Corn has a name, and the name is most of its price. This page collects the varieties we've been able to verify from the launch build and official material — the quality tiers that make up your everyday harvest, and the special corn that ends up mounted on a collection card.
The quality ladder
The game grades ordinary corn into tiers, and the price gap between them is steep. In one official screenshot's receipt, a 184-ear load with 82 ears of Standard corn sold for $18,948 — but the same screenshot shows the top tiers carrying the day:
| Tier | In the sample receipt | Implied per-ear value* |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Corn | x82 — $2,296 | ≈ $28 |
| Select Corn | x59 — $3,540 | ≈ $60 |
| Superior Corn | x13 — $2,990 | ≈ $230 |
| Premium Corn | x3 — $1,290 | ≈ $430 |
| Radiant Corn | x5 — $3,000 | ≈ $600 |
The lesson in one line: three Radiant ears out-earn a hundred Standard ones. Every upgrade that biases your harvest toward rarer corn (see the rare-corn guide) is also a sale-price upgrade.

This is one official screenshot's sell screen, reproduced exactly as shown — every line, in the order the game listed them:
| Line | Amount | Paid |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Corn x82 | 82 ears | $2,296 |
| Select Corn x59 | 59 ears | $3,540 |
| Superior Corn x13 | 13 ears | $2,990 |
| Premium Corn x3 | 3 ears | $1,290 |
| Radiant Corn x5 | 5 ears | $3,000 |
| Flower Corn x4 | 4 ears | $4,800 |
| Grass Corn x18 | 18 ears | $1,032 |
| Total | x184 | $18,948 |
Special corn: the varieties behind the collection cards
Beyond the five tiers, corn splits into special types. Some are conditional — the game's description says exactly which attributes matter: "The corn you can discover depends on the time, the weather, and your active totem." The ones we've confirmed by name so far:
| Variety | Class | Where it shows up |
|---|---|---|
| Flower Corn | Elemental | Receipt line ($1,200/ear in the sample) and a discovery banner. |
| Grass Corn | Elemental-class (unconfirmed) | Receipt line; also appears in delivery orders. |
| Mineral Corn | Mineral/geo type (name only) | A quest asks you to harvest 30 of them. |
| Civilization Corn | Named type | Quests ask for single ears — expect them to be rare. |
| Gemstone corn | Official description | Listed as a collection theme rather than a single type. |
| "Corn containing animals or planets" | Official description | The description's own example of how strange the varieties get. |
The description promises collections spanning "gemstone corn to corn containing animals or planets," so treat this table as the beginning of the list, not the end. The collection page tracks the categories each type slots into.
When you find something new
Rare varieties announce themselves. A banner in the top of the screen names the find, tags its class, and shows its appearance rate and value — one screenshot caught "Elemental Flower Corn, 0.84%, $1,200" mid-harvest. If you have been stacking chance bonuses, the number on the banner is the one your farm finally rolled.
Receipts vs orders
Selling at the receipt is instant money. The order board is where the same corn can earn multiples: requests posted for specific varieties pay well above counter price — sample amounts from official screenshots include a few hundred dollars for Radiant Corn deliveries, $1,200 for Flower Corn, and even $240 for the humble Premium. If an order asks for something you can't farm yet, note the variety — that request is a hint about which condition (weather, time, totem) you're missing.
What we don't know yet
The exact base price of each tier before bonuses, the full variety list, and drop weights for everything except the headline corn are not published anywhere we could verify. As the community documents more finds, this page gets updated — corrections welcome via the contact page.
